About The Position

Executive Doors and Gates is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. As a garage door and gate technician, your role will include diagnosing, repairing and installing garage doors and gates. We are a locally owned and operated, family run business. We are a growing company and there are growth opportunities for each role.

Requirements

Physical strength and stamina are essential for this job.
The ability to operate hand tools and power tools
At least one year of experience with some type of handywork/construction job is required
Capable of heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
The ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and utilize critical thinking
A self-starter who takes responsibility for their role
Able to work in a variety of weather conditions (this is an outdoor job)
The ability to go up and down ladders multiple times
All applicants must pass a driving record and background check prior to being hired.

Nice To Haves

Carpentry background and some welding is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Servicing garage doors and gates
Installing garage doors and gates
Problem solving as to why a garage door or gate isn't working as it should and working towards a solution for the client.
Exceptional customer service as the technician deals directly with the client.
