Garage Door Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Apple Door Systems is hiring a full-time Garage Door Technician Apprentice at its Waynesboro, Virginia location. The apprentice assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors, rolling doors, dock equipment, and related systems. Prior experience is preferred but not required; thorough on-the-job training is provided. The position involves preparing materials for installation and service jobs, maintaining necessary paperwork and records, and helping maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. Work takes place in a non-climate-controlled environment and in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must have an accepted motor vehicle record (MVR) to be added to the company's auto insurance policy.
- Must have dependable and reliable transportation to and from the base office location.

Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of garage door products according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Gather and prepare materials needed for installation and service jobs.
