About The Position

Apple Door Systems is hiring a full-time Garage Door Technician Apprentice at its Waynesboro, Virginia location. The apprentice assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors, rolling doors, dock equipment, and related systems. Previous experience is preferred but not required; thorough on-the-job training is provided. The work takes place in a non-climate-controlled environment and in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record to be added to the company auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from the base office location.
• Willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing garage door products according to the manufacturer's specifications.
• Gather and prepare materials for installation and service jobs.
