Garage Attendant/Cashier, Valet Casino (Caesars New Orleans)
About The Position
The Garage Attendant/Cashier supports valet garage operations at Caesars New Orleans by maintaining accurate vehicle-location and parking-space records, checking parking tickets, and tracking vehicles parked and delivered by each attendant. The role also handles customer cash transactions, operates the garage parking control system and cash register, reconciles cashier funds, and provides revenue reports. The attendant is expected to maintain a well-groomed appearance, treat guests courteously, work effectively with coworkers, and comply with attendance, regulatory, departmental, and company policies. The position requires working quickly and keeping operations orderly in stressful situations.

Responsibilities
- Ensure files accurately reflect the locations of all vehicles parked in the garage.
- Maintain an inventory board showing available parking spaces and their locations.
- Ensure valet parking tickets are completed correctly.
- Track the total cars parked and delivered by each attendant to monitor tip quality.
- Maintain an acceptable appearance and treat guests courteously.
- Act as a role model and represent Caesars positively, encouraging other employees to do the same.
- Meet attendance guidelines and comply with regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Operate the Garage Parking Control System and cash register.
- Process cash and cash-equivalent transactions and make change for customers.
- Reconcile garage cashier funds at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide revenue reports to the Transportation Shift Supervisor and Casino Cashier.
