The Gaming Technician is responsible for performing minor and major repairs on gaming machines, scheduled and un-scheduled. This role involves maintaining complete records of repairs, communicating terminal status, performing preventive maintenance, and participating in machine conversions and relocations. The technician will also handle routine and advanced maintenance on the gaming floor, respond to guest opportunities and floor calls, and establish familiarity with test and support equipment. Additionally, the role requires awareness of upcoming events and promotions, knowledge of the player tracking system, and the ability to address bill or voucher jams and other terminal failures. Maintaining knowledge of terminal technical issues and innovations, ensuring work meets manufacturer requirements, and examining equipment for tampering or malfunctions are key aspects. The position also involves complying with key control policies, accurately recording repair and maintenance information, conducting stock checks for spare parts, and resolving guest disputes. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent guest service is essential.
