About The Position

The Gaming Commission Compliance Officer develops and administers a system for investigating and monitoring assigned projects; performs site visits and assists with developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, internation business, management safety, IT, business technology, criminal justice, political science, public administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to hold strict confidentiality
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • Possess or able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
