About The Position

The Pokagon Band Apprenticeship Program is a 12-week program for Pokagon Band Citizens seeking to gain knowledge and experience within a department of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Government. This is an on-site position with an hourly rate of $17 working with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Gaming Commission. Scheduled work dates from August 31, 2026 – November 20, 2026.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check and drug screening is required.
• Must include a resume with education and work history.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support meeting coordination, recordkeeping, financial tracking, and communication activities that keep the Gaming Commission running efficiently.
• Observe and assist with regulatory compliance efforts, including inspecting casino operations, documenting findings, and ensuring adherence to gaming laws and internal controls.
• Participate in the licensing process by reviewing documentation and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
