About The Position

TASCHEN is seeking a part-time Gallery Sales Associate in Miami to sell its publishing program and promote the brand. The role combines customer advising and sales with operational support, including warehouse management, ordering, database maintenance, coordination of incoming goods and merchandise shipments, and product presentation and upkeep. The associate will also help organize TASCHEN events, including book signings, art fairs, and new openings, both locally and abroad. The position calls for someone passionate about art and related creative fields, commercially minded, customer-oriented, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of a distinctive retail environment.

Requirements

• Passion for art, photography, architecture, design, fashion, and luxury publishing.
• Commercial mindset, confidence, results orientation, and genuine enthusiasm for sales.
• Experience building relationships with discerning international collectors and high-net-worth clientele.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial approach and motivation to exceed sales targets.
• Impeccable presentation and excellent attention to detail.
• Self-starter who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of a unique retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Social skills, flexibility, and a collaborative, customer-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales experience, preferably in an art or gallery environment.
• Additional language skills.
• Previous experience in luxury retail, galleries, auction houses, publishing, or premium customer service.

Responsibilities

• Sell and advise customers on the TASCHEN program, drawing on previous sales experience, preferably in an art or gallery environment.
• Promote the TASCHEN brand and contribute to the development of its network and sales.
• Support warehouse management, ordering, database maintenance, and coordination of incoming goods and merchandise shipments.
• Present and maintain the product range and support day-to-day tasks.
• Contribute organizational skills and a sense of responsibility to TASCHEN events, including book signings, art fairs, and new openings at home and abroad.
• Work toward personal and team sales goals.
