About The Position
The FX Technician GSE Non-Powered performs stick welding, fabrication, repairs, and maintenance on airport dollies used to transport bins and cans of packages behind tugs. The work includes straightening and aligning steel frames, replacing casters and bearings, maintaining rollers and casters, and conducting regular preventive maintenance inspections. Stick welding should produce clean results on horizontal and vertical welds. The position is based at LAX in a busy airport environment. A clean background and driving record are required. Basic welding safety equipment is required. The starting rate is $28 per hour, and the posting lists morning or afternoon shifts. Two full-time positions are available, requiring at least three years of experience. Group Aetna health insurance, VSP vision, and dental coverage start within 90 days.
