About The Position

This position involves working in a production environment, ensuring product quality and safety. The role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and plant-specific rules. The individual will inspect products for defects, work at an efficient pace, and understand product specifications. Safety is paramount, requiring the ability to work with and around various equipment. Compliance with food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulations is essential. The role also requires teamwork and the ability to work independently, with availability for overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality, and all plant specific procedures and rules
Inspect all product for defects; both naturally and unnaturally occurring
Work at a safe pace necessary to maintain efficient production at all times
Know and understand specifications/requirements for each product
Safely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipment
Be familiar with and maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA)
Be familiar with and maintain compliance of all food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulations
Work well with a team and independently
Must be available to wok overtime when necessary to meet production needs
