About The Position

This is a full-time hourly position with a work week of Monday-Friday and every other weekend as needed. The shift hours are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The pay range is based on experience and training.

Requirements

May be required to lift in excess of 40 lbs. at times.
Ability to take initiative to troubleshoot for problems.
Ability to identify basic machine parts and maintenance supplies.
Keep track of tools.
Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance works such as greasing, oiling, minor troubleshooting and repairs with minimal direction.
Possess a working knowledge of hand tools and their uses in routine work.
Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
Must be able to work as a team and independently.
Ability to read repair & parts manuals.
Must have less than 5 absences or tardies/leave earlies.
Must have NO work rule violations/discipline in previous 6 months from date of post.
Must have completed six (6) months of service in your current position.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills - word, excel
Welding experience

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks, including PMs on equipment per area, welding repairs as assigned.
Perform other duties assigned by techs or Supervisors.
Assist other team members in completing work orders/tasks per maintenance schedule.
May be part of the Emergency Response team.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment.
