About The Position
Furniture Fair is hiring Home Style Specialists (Sales + Design) in Cold Spring, KY. This role offers paid training, commission, and bonuses with an earning potential of $55K–$125K+. The company is looking for individuals with personality, ambition, grit, and a passion for home design. The Home Style Specialist will work with clients to create living spaces they love, leveraging design skills and sales acumen. Furniture Fair is a growing, family-owned furniture retailer serving customers throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, providing training, product support, and tools for career success.
Requirements
- Great style – ability to use design skills to find the missing link and help customers solve interior design challenges
- Love to help people and enjoy building relationships
- Share knowledge of design and eye for style
- Communicate professionally with a great written tone where personality shines through
- Familiarity with product lines across many retail and wholesale home vendors
- Experience in sales with the ability to quickly decipher a client's needs and match them with the perfect products
- Competitive, creative, and enjoy helping people
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with a variety of clients of varying design styles and budgets
- Familiarity with the greater Dayton, Cincinnati, Kentucky and Indiana regions
Responsibilities
- Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one on one consultations in the store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive store sales
- Perform productive in-home consultations including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space
- Engage the clients in a professional and personable way that demonstrates your personal passion for the product
- Maintain a professional appearance that represents the Furniture Fair brand
- Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences and living space
- Follow through on product arrivals and set up with each client to ensure a seamless experience
- Demonstrate excellent clienteling skills including following up with clients regarding promotions, new product arrivals etc.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions in order to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire design center assortment
