About The Position

Rooms To Go is seeking a Furniture Repair Apprentice to join their team. This role involves learning and cross-training in a Shop Apprentice Program, developing skills in case goods, fabric upholstery, and leather upholstery restoration. The apprentice will perform furniture and upholstery repairs and formulate colors for all repairs. This is an opportunity to grow with a large and expanding furniture retailer.

Requirements

• Capacity to differentiate color
• Great attention to detail
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
• Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time
• Able to follow directions and work safely
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical and/or artistic ability a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn and cross-train in the Shop Apprentice Program

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
