About The Position
A large furniture retailer in the Dallas area is looking for candidates for our Furniture Repair Apprenticeship program. This is a full-time paid apprenticeship designed to teach the skill set necessary to become a full-time trained Furniture Repair Technician in the next 12 months. Previous experience in the trade is not a requirement to apply or be accepted.
Requirements
- Coachable, good learner, and great work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Learn the skill set necessary to become a full-time trained Furniture Repair Technician.
- Participate in skill evaluations for wage increases.
- Potentially become a full-time repair technician after 12 months.
