About The Position

Rooms To Go is hiring a Furniture Repair Apprentice to learn and cross-train in its Shop Apprentice Program. The role develops skills in case goods, fabric upholstery, and leather upholstery restoration, and performs furniture and upholstery repairs, including formulating colors for repairs. The position also involves carrying out other duties assigned by a supervisor. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Depending on location, associates may earn an additional $50 weekly bonus for working certain shifts. Medical, dental, vision, and other benefits are available to associates who want them; individual medical benefits start at $10 per week. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to differentiate colors.
Have great attention to detail.
Be able to submit to a drug test and background investigation.
Be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
Be able to bend, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
Be able to follow directions and work safely.
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
