About The Position
SFS, Inc. is seeking reliable, detail-oriented independent contractors to assemble and maintain furniture displays in office supply store showrooms and complete in-store customer assembly projects. The role offers flexible, part-time work, with contractors controlling when and how often they work. Pay is $16.75–$18 per hour for showroom service, with piece-rate pay for assembly projects. Completion bonuses include $100 after one three-week cycle and an additional $100 after two cycles (six weeks). Workers can access earnings the next day through DailyPay, with free registration required. SFS, Inc. provides field services to Fortune 1000 manufacturers and retailers across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Its services include merchandising, auditing, installation, and assembly projects.
Requirements
- Prior experience with furniture assembly, merchandising, or similar hands-on work.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation; local travel may be required.
- Personal tools for assembly work.
- A smartphone and active email address for same-day reporting of completed work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and maintain showroom furniture displays to meet client standards.
- Complete customer assembly projects in-store accurately and efficiently.
- Follow detailed instructions for Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) products.
- Perform resets and maintain planogram compliance as needed.
- Complete all work safely, neatly, and professionally.
- Submit same-day reports for completed assignments.
