As a Furnace/Oven Room Operator, you will run heat-treat operations that support consistent product quality and throughput. This role exists to ensure annealing and related thermal cycles are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. You’ll start on day shift (Monday–Thursday, 5:40 a.m.–4:10 p.m.) by reviewing the day’s work orders and confirming the correct setup for each annealing run. Throughout the shift, you’ll rotate between finishing-process equipment—such as pickling baths and multiple furnace types (annealing, quench, belt, strip, strand, and continuous casting)—tracking progress and keeping documentation current. You’ll coordinate with teammates to keep material moving smoothly, respond to priority changes, and maintain a clean, controlled work area while supporting steady casting output and consistent results.
