About The Position

At Allen Industries, we're looking for an Oven Operator who can turn raw materials into the high-quality sign components seen across the country. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to meet you. As an Oven Operator, you'll use specialized thermoforming equipment to heat, mold, and shape plastic components used in custom signage. Every day brings a new challenge as you operate PVI thermoforming ovens and trimming equipment, form sign faces and backs to exact specifications, read drawings and artwork to ensure product accuracy, monitor temperatures, materials, and production quality, make machine adjustments to minimize waste and maximize efficiency, safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand tools, and help create products that showcase some of the most recognized brands in the country.

Requirements

Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds independently and team lift up to 100 pounds
Comfortable working in warm environments (90°F)

Nice To Haves

Experience with thermoforming equipment is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate
