About The Position

The Furnace Operator is responsible for furnace and gas checks, recording and logging results, and loading and unloading furnaces according to recipes and alarms. The operator also provides additional support with part setting as necessary. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and works a 12-hour overnight shift from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., on a rotating schedule of two days on, two days off, three days on, and three days off, repeating. The schedule includes rotating weekends.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Stable work history.
• Complete a comprehensive background check, including a criminal background check, and a 9-panel drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a production environment; candidates with this experience may receive higher starting pay.
