About The Position

Support plant production needs for daily operations, changeovers, and outbound shipments. The Machine Operator primarily assists with packaging products for internal and external use and with changeovers alongside other production teammates. The role involves operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining production quality and safety, and supporting a continuous-flow production line. The hourly rate is $22.65.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
Operate machines to produce products properly and follow packaging procedures for external customers.
Remove or shift materials and finished products to facilitate proper workflow.
Meet production standards for assigned tasks within the required time.
Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in the assigned space.
Take responsibility for safety and quality throughout production.
Clean equipment and the work area before, during, and after the shift.
Follow sorting and restacking instructions from the quality department.
Assist with changeovers when requested by a supervisor or front-end operator.
Perform other duties as required by a supervisor or manager.
