About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the preparation and assembly of tubes and various metal components for furnace cycles. The role requires an individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Possess and develop skills required for the position; including but not limited to basic math, understanding and interpretation of blueprints, use of precision measurement tools.

  • Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings, method sheets, and operating procedures to run production volume through vacuum furnace cycles.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding devices.
  • Stake, resistance, tack, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Adjusts materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
  • Loads and unloads furnace, establish correct settings, makes necessary adjustments to insure proper furnace operation.
  • Perform test and inspection to ensure proper production specifications and standards are met.
  • Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
