Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the preparation and assembly of tubes and various metal components for furnace cycles. The role involves reading work orders, following production drawings, method sheets, and operating procedures to manage production volume through vacuum furnace cycles. Key tasks include positioning and aligning parts, performing various joining operations (stake, resistance, tack, cement, press fits), adjusting materials to meet dimensional specifications, loading and unloading the furnace, setting correct furnace parameters, and performing tests and inspections to ensure production specifications and standards are met. The job requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear, with the capacity to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities like close vision and focus adjustment are necessary. The role also emphasizes consistent attendance and punctuality.
