About The Position

Krause Funeral Home is accepting expressions of interest from experienced, caring, and dedicated Funeral Directors/Embalmers for future opportunities. The role involves coordinating funeral and memorial services, arranging services with families according to their wishes and traditions, preparing legal documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating service logistics, and supporting grieving families with empathy and discretion.

Requirements

• Valid state Funeral Director/Embalmer license, or be in the process of licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and respectful under emotional circumstances.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct funeral and memorial services with compassion and professionalism.
• Meet with families to plan and arrange services in accordance with their wishes and traditions.
• Prepare legal documents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate logistics, including transport, embalming, viewings, and ceremonies.
• Support grieving families with empathy and discretion throughout the process.
