About The Position

Founders Pledge is seeking a dedicated Funds Program Manager to be the central operational hub for their Fund Managers. Founders Pledge is a community of over 2,300 members who have pledged nearly $13.6B and donated over $1.9B to charitable causes in more than 45 countries. They provide giving infrastructure, research, and a network of experts to help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. The organization focuses on deploying capital for maximum impact through evidence-based analysis and long-term thinking.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing complex operations, multi-stakeholder projects, or data pipelines, ideally in grantmaking, consulting, or a fast-moving nonprofit environment.
  • Direct experience working with philanthropic Funds, in grantmaking operations, philanthropic services, or a foundation/donor-advised fund context.
  • Understanding of how capital moves within the philanthropic ecosystem.
  • High fluency with tools such as Salesforce, Notion, Asana, or Google Workspace.
  • High attention to detail and pride in flawless accuracy.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills, with the ability to translate messy pipeline data into clean insights.
  • Ability to proactively surface risks to leadership before they become bottlenecks.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/stakeholders simultaneously and manage directional changes with ease.
  • Initiative to help without being told.

Nice To Haves

  • Operations experience ideally in the field of philanthropy or non-profits.
  • A love for optimization and making things run smoothly.
  • Confidence to implement new systems rather than just maintaining the status quo.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale centralized, robust tracking systems for quantitative and qualitative fund data (commitments, capital inflows/outflows, fund performance).
  • Identify strategic or operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements for fund scalability.
  • Map and balance the donor pipeline against the research pipeline of High-Impact Funding Opportunities (HIFOs).
  • Co-own the end-to-end coordination of Fund operations, including grant tracking, timelines, committee coordination, approvals, and disbursements.
  • Proactively surface risks to senior leadership, such as delays in research sign-off, capital shortfalls, or execution constraints.
  • Manage one-off donor and funder requests, including tailored reporting, special conditions, or agreement-related obligations.
  • Act as the operational connective tissue to ensure fund materials, external posts, internal memos, and impact reports are accurate, timely, and aligned.
  • Coordinate with the Impact Analytics team for external reporting and manage donor requests and special conditions.
  • Coordinate internal functional areas to execute fund launches and reopenings.
  • Provide administrative support, including email drafting and management, scheduling meetings, preparing for meetings, conferences, and follow-ups, and booking travel and accommodations.
  • Provide operational support by taking on repeatable, process-driven work for the Research Operations Lead.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy.
  • Flat structure.
  • Diverse team from charitable and commercial backgrounds.
  • Equal opportunity employer.
  • Commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workplace.
