FUNDRAISING OPERATIONS MANAGER
About The Position
The Fundraising Operations Manager plays a critical role in building and strengthening the operational foundation needed to grow the organization’s fundraising program. This internally facing role builds and manages all of the necessary systems, fundraising and campaign support for the organization’s mission to fund neuroscience research, with an initial focus on research and public education. Serving as a trusted internal partner and cross-functional facilitator, this role connects Development with teams across data and information, prospect research, CRM, campaign execution, reporting, analytics, and donor stewardship to ensure the organization has the insight, structure, and operational support needed to drive meaningful fundraising growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications/marketing, nonprofit/public administration, fundraising or philanthropic studies or related area required
- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in fundraising, advancement, or philanthropy ideally within healthcare, academic medicine, research, association or mission-driven organizations.
- Strong desire and proven ability to operationalize fundraising strategy through intentional and ongoing collaboration.
- Demonstrated success building effective fundraising operations, including CRM implementation, workflow automation, reporting and analytics.
- Exceptional collaborator, with experience working across organizational disciplines with long-term relationships and results in mind.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in an emerging function with limited initial resources.
- Ability to legally travel outside of the United States is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inaugural or start-up fundraising functions is preferred.
- Experience in Donor CRM implementation leadership is preferred.
