About The Position

CDP, a Boston-based public benefit corporation, uses the collaborative fundraising model to improve the operational efficiency and revenue generation capacity of the public media system. CDP currently provides more than 230 NPR and PBS public media organizations (PMO’s) with outsourced marketing, data analytics, fundraising, and technology services. These services help PMO’s raise more net income, grow their donor files faster, lower their fundraising costs, and free up development talent allowing stations to better focus on local engagement. Since its inception, CDP has delivered more than $785 million in membership revenue for local PMO’s participating in its services and has become the most widely adopted Public Media service in the history of public broadcasting. Just as CDP is committed to supporting public media organizations around the country, we are equally committed to supporting each of our team in their own professional development. The Operations Support Services (OSS) Team is one of six groups within the Fundraising Operations Department, providing essential support to fundraising operations for the Member Service Bureau (MSB) cooperative. This team is responsible for triaging and responding to inquiries from Public Media Organizations (PMO) regarding fundraising operations activities CDP coordinates for the 50+ (and growing) member station MSB cooperative. In addition, the OSS Team manages logistics and provides support for MSB cooperative member on-air pledge drives. Each year, the OSS Team supports over 60,000+ hours of on-air pledge drives and facilitates the fulfillment of more than 150,000 thank-you gift orders. As a member of the Operations Support Services team, the Fundraising Operations Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn non-profit fundraising practices and gain experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, while working to ensure a sustainable future for NPR and PBS public media organizations across the country. The Fundraising Operations Coordinator works primarily in a Salesforce CRM to assist public media organization employees with their inquiries. The Fundraising Operations Coordinator also works in RevCRM, a non-profit fundraising CRM, to manage a wide array of fundraising initiatives on behalf of our public media Clients. The Operations Support Services team works collaboratively with internal technology, marketing, and client services teams to best serve our partner stations. This is a temporary role that may lead to a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
