About The Position

Event 360 is seeking a passionate, people-first Fundraising Coach to provide personalized, direct coaching support to a select group of peer-to-peer fundraising event participants across multiple markets. This role is part of a fundraising coaching program for one of Event 360's clients. The coach will work within a small, dedicated team, collectively supporting up to 5,000 participants. The primary goal is to activate participants in their fundraising efforts through various communication channels, offering encouragement, practical advice, and genuine connection. This is a collaborative role requiring strong communication and people skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team. The position is temporary, part-time, nonexempt, and fully remote, running through November 13. The coach will report to and work directly with Event 360’s Fundraising & Development Strategist, executing an intentional coaching strategy through two-way texting, phone and email communications, and group virtual coaching calls.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for people and the ability to motivate others toward their goals.
  • Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising, fundraising coaching, or participant engagement.
  • Strong communications skills: you write clearly, pay strong attention to detail, and communicate in a friendly, inspiring manner.
  • Comfort with high-volume, relationship-based outreach via text, email, and phone.
  • Experience facilitating virtual group meetings or coaching calls that inspire action and motivate people to reach and exceed individual fundraising goals.
  • A self-starter mindset and the ability to see a gap and fill it without waiting to be told what to do.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) and comfort with CRM or participant management platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous participation in a peer-to-peer fundraising event is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound participant communications via a shared email inbox, responding to fundraising questions, sharing encouragement, and providing actionable next steps to activate fundraisers.
  • Conduct two-way texting outreach with participants to offer timely, personalized fundraising coaching and support.
  • Proactively reach out to participants via phone and email at key milestones to help them meet and exceed their fundraising goals.
  • Take a strategic approach to managing your workload and scheduling your participant touchpoints.
  • Facilitate virtual group coaching sessions for participants to share fundraising tips, answer questions, and build community.
  • Prepare talking points and resources for each call, tapping into your own knowledge and experience with peer-to-peer fundraising.
  • Partner closely with the Event 360 Fundraising & Development team to stay aligned on pilot strategy, participant segment updates, and communications schedules.
  • Participate in weekly internal project update calls to share observations, flag challenges, and contribute ideas for improving participant performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant interactions.
