About The Position

Kawasaki Motors Retail Finance (KMRF) is seeking a Funding Coordinator for an entry-level role supporting the contract funding process. This position assists with reviewing electronically submitted contract packages and stipulations, monitoring application queues, preparing final contract packages, supporting eVault processing, and filing lien documentation. The role requires strong attention to detail, accurate system updates, and timely communication to ensure applications are properly documented and prepared for funding in accordance with company procedures. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end lifecycle of retail finance within a newly established captive finance operation. The individual in this position will gain foundational insight into dealership documentation, contract execution, and funding operations, making it a strong entry point into the powersports finance industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior clerical, administrative, or office experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to work onsite in Irving, TX

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with electronic documents, records management, or document-management systems
  • Exposure to financial services, contracts, or dealership operations (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation and escalate items requiring additional review.
  • Monitor the Documents Received Queue and Incomplete Documents Queue within the loan origination system to ensure documents are reviewed and processed promptly.
  • Review required stipulations and supporting documentation prior to funding.
  • Assist with preparing and organizing final contract packages within the loan origination system.
  • File lien documentation with the appropriate state agencies to support timely lien perfection.
  • Monitor designated communication channels and respond to support requests from Funding and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate records to support internal audits, compliance reviews, and document retention requirements.
  • Assist with the eVault process for electronically uploaded contract packages.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Funding leadership and senior funding team members.
  • Perform other administrative and junior-level funding duties as assigned.
