Functional Medicine Physician (MD/DO) | Women’s Health
About The Position
reNew You Health and Wellness is a women’s healthcare practice combining conventional medicine with a functional, root-cause approach. It serves adult women at every stage of life, including primary care, gynecology, family planning, weight management, perimenopause, and menopause. The practice offers longer visits, personalized care plans, and collaborative care. The practice is seeking a board-certified MD or DO with functional or integrative medicine training to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on identifying and addressing underlying drivers of illness. The position is 16–24 hours per week and pays $90.00–$110.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, GYN, or a related specialty.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts and DEA registration.
- Experience in women’s health.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient education.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or training in functional medicine, such as IFM, A4M, or equivalent, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consultations, including detailed health histories and appropriate laboratory and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans integrating nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation, and conventional therapies.
- Manage conditions including hormonal imbalance, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, fertility concerns, perimenopause and menopause, fatigue, gut health, and metabolic and autoimmune issues.
- Provide hormone therapy and other evidence-based interventions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the care team of nurse practitioners.
- Document care thoroughly and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
