About The Position
Join Strategic Therapy Associates in Virginia as a certified Functional Family Therapist (FFT). This role involves providing home-based mental health counseling to children and adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families, utilizing the FFT evidence-based model. The company will cover the cost of FFT certification and offer free clinical supervision for licensure to qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Registered (or eligible) as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia.
- QMHP-C with 5+ years experience with children and families also considered.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for a duration of 8-26 weeks depending on the needs of each family.
- Provide at least 1 hour/week of home-based family therapy to each client on your caseload.
- Complete all documentation accurately.
- Travel within a one-hour drive is necessary.
- Willingness to transport clients as needed.
