About The Position

Strategic Therapy Associates is seeking a Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or Licensed Mental Health Professional to become a certified Functional Family Therapist (FFT). This role involves providing home-based mental health counseling to children and adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families, utilizing the FFT evidence-based model. The company will cover the cost of FFT certification, valued at over $1700, and offer free clinical supervision for licensure to qualified Residents. The position requires managing a caseload of 10-15 families for 8-26 weeks, providing at least one hour of home-based family therapy per week per client, and completing all documentation accurately. Travel within a one-hour drive is necessary, and flexible hours are required to accommodate family needs.

Requirements

Registered (or eligible) as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia.
QMHP-C with 5+ years experience with children and families also considered.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
Willingness to transport clients as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for a duration of 8-26 weeks depending on the needs of each family.
Provide at least 1 hour/week of home-based family therapy to each client on your caseload.
Complete all documentation accurately.
Travel within a one-hour drive.
