About The Position

The Functional Consultant serves as a subject matter and functional expert in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM), supporting business areas such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay. The role provides application support by triaging and resolving tickets and service requests, assigning issues to development teams when needed, and supporting client business events such as year-end close. The consultant works closely with the Service Delivery Manager, Engagement Manager, business users, project teams, stakeholders, and vendors. They clarify issues and enhancement requirements, prepare specification documents, contribute to solution design, monitor development progress, and conduct system testing. The role also applies best practices to determine solutions to business problems, builds trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, shares knowledge with internal functional teams, and supports ERPA pursuit efforts.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of work experience in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM) modules.
Expertise in core modules: GL, AP, AR, PO, BI, and INV.
Broad knowledge of other FSCM modules, such as Cash Management, Treasury, PC, Contracts, and ePro.
Proven experience leading functional streams of PeopleSoft projects.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
Ability to manage expectations of different project stakeholders.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience working in an SLA-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter and functional expert in PeopleSoft FSCM business areas, including Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay.
Triage tickets and service requests according to service workflows, resolve tickets, and assign tickets to the development team as required.
Support client business events where applicable, such as year-end close.
Work with the Service Delivery Manager and Engagement Manager and provide updates on incidents and service request tickets.
Work with business users to understand issues and enhancement requirements and create specification documents.
Contribute to design, monitor development progress, and perform system testing for incident resolutions and application enhancements.
Use best practices to define and assess requirements and determine optimal solutions to customer business problems.
Establish strong relationships with customer business and IT stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and other vendors to support successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with internal ERPA functional team members to share knowledge and best practices and demonstrate thought leadership.
Support ERPA pursuit efforts with functional knowledge and experience.
