About The Position

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support enterprise finance transformation and AI-driven initiatives within a large, complex organization. This role will sit at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field preferred)
3–8+ years of Business Analyst experience (flexible depending on capability)
Prior experience in enterprise-scale environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in hybrid or agile project environments
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and translate finance business requirements into actionable data and technical requirements
Partner with finance stakeholders to identify and define AI-driven use cases (e.g., spend analysis, AP/AR insights, inventory optimization)
Collaborate with data engineering teams to identify, source, and structure large data sets
Work within cross-functional project teams (PMs, vendors, engineers, product teams)
Drive discovery efforts across multiple systems and data sources
Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives (SAP → Workday journey)
Operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments with shifting priorities
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes through data
