About The Position

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise applications, focusing on scheduling systems and data integration. This role involves leading the full lifecycle of application management, from assessment and design to implementation and end-user support. The analyst will bridge the gap between user needs and business requirements, ensuring seamless operation and effective utilization of various IT systems within the healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Prior implementation experience in Clairvia, UKG, or Ansos is necessary.
  • Exposure to Time and Labor, HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Security Admin, HCM, Finance, Systems Administrator, Benefits, and Peoplesoft Developer modules.
  • Broad knowledge of hardware, peripheral devices, communications systems, programming languages, and data management techniques.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and MS Project.
  • Ability to transform large quantities of information into meaningful requirements.
  • Understanding of UI design, SDLC, and JAD methodologies; ability to identify risks and meet adapting deadlines.
  • Strong ability to lead workgroups and communicate technical details to non-technical personnel.
  • Must be a strong team player who can also work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Math, Business, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in data processing and applications.
  • Three (3) years of experience in formal requirement gathering (interviews, workshops, workflow analysis).

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle Cloud Scheduling, PeopleSoft, Allscripts, Epic, Onbase, Incident Management Systems, and ERP platforms experience.
  • Health Care experience and knowledge of NYC Health and Hospitals.
  • Telecommunications background (required for Network Services roles).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Clairvia for Nursing, including running reports, assigning security, and performing daily updates.
  • Provide configuration expertise for Oracle Cloud Scheduling.
  • Ensure daily HR imports from PeopleSoft and manage integrations with Epic and Point Click Care.
  • Lead the assessment, design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications.
  • Distinguish user needs from actual business needs.
  • Interview stakeholders to create functional/technical requirements, conceptual data models, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with EITS during SQL server updates, Epic upgrades, and system downtimes.
  • Lead all testing phases, issue resolution, and Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Document test plans, release notes, and training guidelines.
  • Resolve application defects, satisfy user inquiries, and provide system training/mentoring to junior staff.
