About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP functional expert with deep expertise in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Materials Management. This role is responsible for optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes within SAP S/4HANA, enabling efficient operations, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. This role reports to the Director - SAP, Purchasing & Logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP Purchasing, SCM experience, with strong focus on Purchasing, Inventory Management, and related functional areas.
  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA for Retail, including integration with warehouse management systems and 3PL providers using EDI, IDocs, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, procurement lifecycle, and materials management best practices.
  • Experience integrating with SAP solutions such as Ariba and SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), including POS data flows and sidecar architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and effective SAP solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Independently gather and analyze business requirements; design optimal solutions and develop detailed functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
  • Configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA modules across Procurement (Sourcing), Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Partner with procurement, logistics, and supply chain business stakeholders to streamline and standardize business processes within SAP.
  • Manage and govern master data including materials, vendors, and purchasing pricing conditions to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Lead and support system integration efforts across upstream and downstream systems, including warehouse management and external partners.
  • Plan and execute testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT), support defect resolution, and ensure successful deployments.
  • Deliver end-user training, documentation, and ongoing production support for Purchasing, SCM-related processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to drive development, testing, and timely delivery of solutions.
