About The Position

Brush Creek Solutions is seeking a Functional Analyst II to support our DoD customer at Fort Lee, Virginia. This role is contingent upon contract award. The primary focus is on collecting, analyzing, and documenting observations, lessons, and best practices related to Operational Contract Support (OCS) from various military activities. The analyst will coordinate interviews, conduct surveys, identify trends, and recommend solutions to leadership.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience using Microsoft Office/365 and Adobe Pro
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in collection, analysis, and trend identification of military operations
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience using the Joint Lessons Learned System (JLLIS)
  • Understanding and experience in operational contract support (OCS)
  • Experience in developing learning demands and essential elements of analysis to enable focused collection efforts

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, analyze, and document OCS observations, lessons and best business practices from experimentation, simulations, exercises, assistance visits, training, and ongoing military operations.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with key leaders and staff members regarding observations, insights, lessons (OILs) and best practices during operations, exercises, and other activities involving OCS, and record them in the JLLIS NLT 1 week after conducting interview.
  • Prepare, conduct and analyze targeted OCS surveys, and provide results to the COR and OCS Division leadership NLT 2 weeks after close of the survey.
  • Review and analyze OILs to identify trends and recommend potential DOTMLPF-P solutions to the COR and OCS Division leadership for implementation on a quarterly basis.
  • Review, analyze, and identify lessons, trends, and best practices with OCS significant to the Joint community, and once approved by the COR and OCS Division leadership create a specific JLLIS cabinet with approved items, and submit to the Joint OCS Lessons Learned Manager via linked JLLIS cabinet annually.
