Brillio is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale customer-facing technology platforms. The role involves hands-on frontend and backend engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions using web technologies, cloud-native services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. The successful candidate will bring strong engineering fundamentals, a product mindset, and the ability to solve complex technical problems independently in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on, production-grade full-stack experience.
• Frontend development experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, and reusable UI components.
• Backend development experience with Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, including APIs, services, and integrations such as REST, gRPC, Thrift, and Koa.
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, and RDS, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, CircleCI, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience and ownership across distributed, cross-time-zone teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex technical initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, gRPC and Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems supporting business-critical workflows.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
• Promote engineering practices involving coding standards, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployment automation in AWS-based environments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, and designers.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and team members.
