About The Position

The FullStack Developer will join a high-performing engineering team supporting large-scale products and services. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications and backend services. The successful candidate will bring strong backend development experience, preferably with PHP and also with Python or Java, plus proficiency in JavaScript and React for full-stack collaboration. The role requires problem-solving ability, an understanding of distributed systems, and effective collaboration with engineering and product teams. The position is based in Menlo Park, California, with a hybrid work schedule. The expected compensation range is $80,000 to $173,800, with final compensation dependent on factors including location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off inclusive of sick leave, and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

8–10 years of experience.
Mandatory full-stack MERN experience.
Strong backend development experience with PHP (preferred) and Python or Java.
Proficiency in JavaScript and React for full-stack collaboration.
Understanding of distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PHP is preferred.
Frontend experience with React JS, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Backend experience with PHP, Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot and microservices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using PHP and Python or Java.
Build reliable, high-performance applications capable of supporting large-scale workloads.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with frontend applications.
Collaborate with frontend engineers using JavaScript and React to deliver end-to-end product functionality.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, production-ready code.
