About The Position
Capgemini is seeking an experienced full stack software engineer focused on digital applications, with experience leading teams in technology and full stack solutions. The role involves designing and delivering strong end-user journeys, building front-end solutions and mid-tier services, and developing, deploying, and supporting key applications and features in collaboration with a team. The successful candidate will communicate technical needs and capabilities to non-technical colleagues, product owners, and partners, apply Agile development methods, and decompose sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, scalable solutions. The position calls for knowledge of modern application architecture patterns and emerging technologies, secure development, design patterns, and test coverage. The technical environment includes modern SPA frameworks—particularly Angular—Java and Spring, REST services, Kubernetes, API management, client-side development, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms. AWS is preferred. The role also involves SRE concepts and tools, and use of AI tools to advance development practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
- Experience leading teams in technology and full stack solutions.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture patterns and emerging technologies.
- Experience with modern SPA JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, Vue, or React JS.
- Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, REST web services, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with API management using Swagger and OpenAPI.
- Proficiency with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML, CSS/SASS, RxJS, and Jasmine/Karma/Storybook/Playwright.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins Core, Maven, and pipeline maintenance.
- Expert understanding of Docker and cloud-computing/cloud-services platforms.
- Ability to communicate technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
- Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support applications and features.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodology.
- Experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Focus or experience in digital applications.

- Experience working in a Monorepo.
- AWS cloud services are favorable.
- Exposure to AI tools and their use in advancing development practices.
