About The Position

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare (NPBHC) invites passionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists to attend our Monthly Job Fair. This is an onsite, invitation-only event with same-day interviews, where candidates will learn about our roles, meet our clinical leadership, and explore full-time and part-time opportunities serving youth across New Jersey. Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapists in North and Central New Jersey to provide In-Home and Center-Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs. This position also includes mentoring newly hired therapists and interns, shaping the clinical growth of our team. Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Therapeutic Support Services designed to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing individualized care for every client. We are seeking highly skilled, licensed therapists with at least 5 years of clinical experience who are passionate about providing therapeutic services and mentoring the next generation of clinicians. Requirements

  • Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
  • Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); candidates with out-of-state licenses may be considered if reciprocity applies
  • Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with youth with mental health disorders
  • Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
  • Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
  • Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training
  • Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, initial assessments, and goal setting
  • Proficiency in counseling approaches such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
  • Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
  • Experience providing positive behavior supports
  • Prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks
  • A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
  • Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • State Reciprocity considered, but candidate must be within 25–30 minutes of service areas
  • Availability during after-school hours (12 PM–8 PM); weekend flexibility is a plus
  • Full-time candidates must not maintain an active private practice due to potential conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual In-home therapy, Group therapy sessions, Telehealth therapy, and Outpatient center sessions.
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Teach coping, social, and anger management skills; reduce risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
  • Support youth and caregivers in making effective decisions to manage behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Child & Family Treatment Team and other professionals supporting the youth and family.
  • Mentor newly hired therapists and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and support in clinical practices.
  • Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated timeframes (intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, etc.)
  • Attend monthly meetings and complete mandatory clinical documentation.
  • Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
