About The Position

DirectViz Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to support its team onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports Publication Tracking Software (PTS), a suite of products that includes PTS, Pubs Online, and MEO Online. It focuses on analyzing legacy ASP.NET WebForms applications, planning modernization strategies, and implementing scalable solutions in Blazor. The developer will also manage databases, validate data integrity, support software quality and testing, document software and user manuals, and provide customer support by telephone and email. An active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required. DirectViz Solutions is a government contractor providing IT solutions to government clients. Requirements

One to two years of professional experience in .NET and C# development.
Experience with C#, .NET, ASP, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
Familiarity with build tools such as Visual Studio and code management tools such as Git.
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good command of English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing priorities in an evolving environment.
Ability to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
Ability to perform routine tasks and learn and remember them.
Ability to execute tasks independently and work as part of a team.
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer using a mouse and keyboard.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Azure DevOps experience.
Experience with Entity Framework, .NET Core, MVC, or XML.
Experience with Telerik Web UI or Telerik Reports.

Responsibilities

Develop full-stack software for Publication Tracking Software and its PTS, Pubs Online, and MEO Online products.
Analyze existing ASP.NET WebForms projects, plan migration strategies, and implement scalable solutions in Blazor.
Manage databases and write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.
Support software quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Develop, test, and document software and user manuals.
Provide PTS customer support by telephone and email.
Perform software testing using applicable manual, automated, regression, and exploratory testing practices.
