About The Position

HouseMax Funding is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Application Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain internal web applications supporting its lending and operational processes. The role spans the full application stack, including user interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and application deployment. The developer will primarily use modern web application technologies such as Next.js, React, Supabase/PostgreSQL, APIs, and Vercel, while supporting integrations with existing systems and data environments. The developer will participate across the software development lifecycle, contribute to application architecture and design, support production systems, and maintain technical documentation. The role also involves using approved AI-assisted development tools, identifying opportunities for AI and automation, and evaluating emerging development technologies based on business requirements, security, and practical value.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of professional full stack software or web application development experience.
Professional experience building and maintaining production web applications.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Experience with React, Next.js, or comparable modern frontend frameworks.
Experience developing backend application functionality, services, and APIs.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
Experience integrating web applications with internal or third-party systems.
Strong understanding of APIs, application integrations, authentication, and data handling.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with Git or similar source-control tools.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application, integration, and database issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain internal web-based applications.
Develop responsive frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, and related technologies.
Develop backend application logic, services, APIs, and database functionality.
Translate business requirements, technical specifications, and user feedback into application functionality.
Build reusable components and development patterns to improve consistency and efficiency.
Troubleshoot application defects and implement bug fixes, enhancements, and new functionality.
Monitor and support production applications and resolve technical issues.
Participate in requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
Contribute to technical architecture and design decisions for new applications and enhancements.
Develop scalable, maintainable, secure solutions suited to business requirements.
Manage web application deployments and environment configuration using platforms such as Vercel.
Support source control, code review, release management, and development standards.
Identify opportunities to improve application performance, stability, security, and maintainability.
Maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and development processes.
Use approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into internal applications and business processes.
Develop and support application functionality integrating with approved AI models, APIs, or automation services, as appropriate.
Evaluate emerging development technologies and tools based on business requirements, security considerations, and practical value.
