About The Position

Ctrl+ is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to modernize a customer service request portal used by mission users to request and track services. The role involves developing Spring Boot backend services and Angular interfaces, as well as supporting cloud infrastructure. Work is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, with regular on-site attendance and up to two days per week of telework. Applicants must live within commuting distance and currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; Ctrl+ does not sponsor new clearances or upgrades. The position includes a rotating on-call schedule.

Compensation is approximately $77.31–$85.36 per hour, with the employer’s 401(k) contribution additional. Actual hourly pay varies by qualifications, experience, and selected compensation model. Candidates may choose among Max Rate, With Bonus, or With Bonus and PTO models; PTO and bonuses depend on the model and role eligibility. The company offers a close-knit team environment supporting Department of Defense missions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Java and Spring Boot 3.5/4.0.
• Node.js.
• Angular 19 or later.
• PostgreSQL.
• AWS and Linux/RHEL.
• Docker, Git, Maven, and Ansible.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Live within commuting distance of the work location and be able to attend work in person regularly.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
