The People Intelligence team builds internal software that helps Applied Intuition’s leaders run and scale the company, including tools for performance management, team planning, headcount and budget, organizational insight, and the employee experience. The team works directly with leaders and internal groups to understand business problems, use people, financial, and operational data to inform decisions, and build dependable systems. Engineers on this small team own products end to end, from identifying ambiguous problems through shipping and operating production software. The role involves developing Go services and React/TypeScript frontends backed by Postgres; building data pipelines and integrations with systems such as Workday, Slack, and Jira; deploying and monitoring software on GCP and AWS; and modernizing legacy Python/Flask systems. The engineer will use SQL and Python to create metrics, analyses, and visualizations, while ensuring sensitive people and financial data remains accurate and access-controlled. The position works closely with company leaders and partner teams including People, Finance, and IT. Applied Intuition is an in-office company. Full-time employees are expected to primarily work from an Applied Intuition office five days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments. This expectation does not apply to contractor positions.
