Full Stack Software Engineer

Integrate•Seattle, WA
•$110,000 - $155,000

About The Position

Integrate is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and evolve the product layer of its platform. The role spans React-based user interfaces, Go APIs, and the integrations connecting them, with a focus on the product experience and how users interact with complex program data. Near-term work includes developing cross-domain solution workflows, improving how complex project data is presented to users, and contributing to the API and integration services beneath those experiences. The engineer will work closely with product, design, and backend engineers and participate in product decisions by understanding user problems, raising concerns when solutions do not serve users well, and treating UX quality and polish as engineering requirements. The team expects engineers to own what they build from end to end. Integrate is based in Seattle and builds a real-time, cross-boundary project management platform for complex programs across government and commercial environments. This position requires access to export-controlled information, so US person status is required. US persons include US citizens, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted U.S. asylum status, and individuals admitted in U.S. refugee status.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of full stack engineering experience in a product-focused environment.
  • Strong React fundamentals, including component architecture, state management, and performance.
  • Solid HTML5 and CSS3 skills and the ability to build clean, responsive interfaces.
  • Go backend experience, including REST API development, middleware, and service patterns.
  • PostgreSQL experience with schema design, query writing, and migrations.
  • GraphQL familiarity sufficient to read and reason about resolvers and understand N+1 patterns and common pitfalls.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns such as webhooks or third-party API design.
  • Some exposure to broader backend concerns such as caching, rate limiting, or asynchronous processing.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling.
  • US person status, as defined in the posting, is required for access to export-controlled information.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Apollo Client.
  • Experience with complex or graph-structured data models.
  • A background in B2B SaaS, defense tech, or complex enterprise environments.
  • Comfort working in a product and architecture that are still taking shape.

Responsibilities

  • Build and iterate on React-based user interface surfaces that make complex project workflows legible and fast for end users.
  • Design and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL layers in Go for internal and external consumers.
  • Own and evolve PostgreSQL data models, including schema design, query optimization, and migration management.
  • Contribute to the GraphQL integration layer and ensure resolvers are well-structured and performant.
  • Build and maintain Go integration services connecting internal systems and external APIs, owning interface design, error handling, and observability.
  • Write and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment stages across environments.
  • Ship clean, tested, maintainable code across the stack and improve the code and systems encountered.

Benefits

  • Strong benefits.
  • Real ownership and influence over architecture and technical direction.
  • Room to grow alongside a high-performing team.
