Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier, founded in 2022 with the mission to be a force for good in global wireless. The company was built from the ground up with a focus on privacy and security, offering a secure network to consumers, businesses, and government agencies. Cape closed its Series C in March 2026 and is rapidly scaling to give people back control of their personal information. The team operates on a foundation of high trust and high expectations, with a flat structure where collaboration is prioritized over hierarchy. Engineers will collaborate with world-class professionals to solve complex problems and deliver mission-critical results. The Cape platform provides customers with end-to-end control of their digital identity, optimizing for resiliency, privacy, and security. The Full Stack Software Engineer's mission is to provide connectivity without compromise, building a system that enables resilient, global connectivity with a security and privacy-first mindset. This involves developing features such as a signaling firewall to mitigate malicious attacks, detecting fake base-stations, and identifying/preventing SPAM & Smishing campaigns. The role requires fluency across the full stack to enable ownership and agency in leading these efforts. Engineers are expected to be passionate about solving real-world problems, personal privacy, and empowering peers. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on products and users, with a day-to-day that is dynamic and filled with ambiguity, but consistently high-impact.
