About The Position

Join the Document Analytics team to build modern, secure, and scalable technology that makes data accessible and useful. This collaborative role spans the software development lifecycle, from solution design and hands-on development through testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. You will build user-facing applications, APIs, integrations, and data-driven capabilities that connect users with information and analytical insights. You will partner with engineers, architects, analytics professionals, product teams, operations, designers, and business stakeholders to turn business needs into reliable technical solutions. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience building both front-end and back-end applications.
Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Professional backend development experience in at least one of Go/Golang, C#/.NET, or Java; Go is strongly preferred.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs and web services.
Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, testing, and maintainable code.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including investigating and resolving complex technical issues.
Ability to evaluate requirements, recommend technical approaches, and estimate level of effort.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Continuous-learning mindset and willingness to constructively challenge existing approaches.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on production experience with Go/Golang.
Experience with PostgreSQL/Postgres or comparable relational databases.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience with Git/GitHub and modern source-control practices.
Experience with engineering and project-tracking tools such as Jira.
Experience developing data-intensive, analytics, or document-processing applications.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Develop reliable, scalable, and secure backend services using Go, C#, and/or Java.
Design and develop RESTful APIs, services, and integrations that provide access to data and analytical capabilities.
Build and maintain efficient database solutions, including PostgreSQL/Postgres and other data technologies.
Translate requirements into technical solutions in partnership with product managers, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with UX and design partners to deliver intuitive user experiences.
Assess technical requirements, recommend solution options, and estimate development and delivery effort.
Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and contribute to root-cause resolution.
Develop unit and integration tests to maintain reliability and code quality.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative engineering practices.
Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies to support scalable application deployment.
Use development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve engineering productivity and quality.
