Full-Stack Software Engineer (New Grad)

Agave•San Francisco, CA
•$130,000 - $160,000•Onsite

About The Position

Agave is building a financial operations platform for the construction industry, serving more than 550 customers and backed by Accel and Y Combinator. The company is hiring a new graduate full-stack/backend engineer to help build and scale its platform and integrations. The role offers substantial ownership, close work with customers, and collaboration with an experienced founding team in an early-stage, rapidly growing company. The work spans unifying data, models, authentication, account-linking experiences, and other capabilities across numerous fragmented systems; connecting securely and reliably to legacy on-premise systems; and scaling APIs that handle millions of requests per day. Engineers build backend systems and front-end applications that use Agave’s own APIs, develop efficient data storage and caching, and create testing approaches for a broad range of integrations and endpoints. Integrations require investigation of each system’s distinct behavior, followed by rapid development and iteration informed by customer feedback. For candidates in the Bay Area, Agave maintains an in-person culture at its San Francisco office, with work in person five days per week. The company offers relocation support for candidates moving to the Bay Area.
