About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer by providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems on a large government contract. The role involves working with the latest technologies, a personalized training program for individual growth, and mission-focused work surrounded by a team of brilliant engineers. GliaCell Technologies focuses on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces, utilizing Agile Software Development principles for quick turn-around with interactive applications and industry-standard software stacks. GliaCell’s Enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. They also provide customer solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threat.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance (in-scope poly, within 7 years).
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 7+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with open-source tools is required.
  • Experience with Java threading, SpringBoot, JavaScript, JMS, MongoDB, AWS, Amazon RDS, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Cockroach DB or other RDBMS at similar scale, COOP, Large scale distributed systems with high availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with open-source integrations.
  • Experience with Kibana, Alfresco, Content Management tools, Node, Svelt, React, and Angular, Confluence, Jira, Maven, Git.

Responsibilities
