About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of their subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer by providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems on a large government contract. The company emphasizes immersing engineers in the latest technologies, providing personalized training for growth, and offering mission-focused work with brilliant colleagues. GliaCell Technologies specializes in Software & System Engineering within Enterprise and Cyber Security solutions, utilizing Agile development principles for quick turn-around on interactive applications and integration of industry-standard software stacks. Their Enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. They also provide solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including assessments and solutions in Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threats.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance (in-scope poly, within 7 years).
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with open-source tools is required.
  • Experience with Java threading, SpringBoot, JavaScript, JMS, MongoDB, AWS, Amazon RDS, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Cockroach DB or other RDBMS at similar scale, COOP, Large scale distributed systems with high availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Functional UI experience.
  • Experience with open-source integrations.
  • Experience with Kibana, Alfresco, Content Management tools, Node, Svelt, React, and Angular, Confluence, Jira, Maven, Git.
